Athol Lavender Farm Spring Cleaning
This spring cleanup project focused on restoring and preparing a working lavender farm in Athol for the upcoming growing season. Our scope included clearing downed trees and storm-damaged branches throughout the property, improving field access and overall site safety. All woody debris was consolidated into a managed slash pile to allow the owner to burn material during approved and safer burn windows.
In addition to tree and brush removal, we pulled and removed lavender plants that had reached the end of their productive life cycle after many years of farming. Plant material and accumulated field debris were hauled off-site to leave the fields clean and ready for renewal. Final grading was completed to restore smooth field contours, improve drainage, and prepare the land for future planting and ongoing farm operations.
The result was a refreshed, well-maintained field that supports the next phase of production while preserving the character and functionality of the farm.
