This project focused on full foundation excavation and site preparation for a new residential build, completed within a tight working area and challenging hillside conditions. Limited access and restricted space for material handling required careful planning, precise equipment operation, and efficient staging throughout the project. Despite these constraints, excavation and grading were executed accurately to establish a stable, build-ready footprint.

Soil conditions and slope stability were continuously evaluated as excavation progressed to ensure the foundation area met design requirements and could safely support the structure. Material management was especially critical due to the limited working area, requiring controlled excavation, strategic stockpiling, and timely removal to maintain site safety and workflow.

We prepared the site to accommodate footing and foundation installation by achieving accurate depths, clean trench lines, and a level subgrade, while addressing drainage early to prevent water accumulation on the hillside. The project concluded with final grading and a well-organized site, allowing the next phase of construction to proceed efficiently despite the physical limitations of the location. The result was a solid, properly prepared foundation site that met design intent while overcoming the inherent challenges of terrain and access.
